A Holiday Giveaway!

The giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Julie on winning the copies of Lidia Bastianich's books! Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by to leave a comment.

I am back from my trip to Maryland where I had a wonderful time with my family and good friends. Now, I am very excited to bring you a very special giveaway just in time for the holidays!

While at the book signing event with Lidia Bastianich that I attended a couple of weeks ago, I bought a copy of her newest cookbook, Lidia's Italy in America and her first children's book, Nonna Tell Me a Story especially for this giveaway. The copy of Lidia's Italy in America is extra-special because it was autographed by Lidia!

Nonna Tell Me a Story was released last year, and I gave a copy to both of my nephews for Christmas. It's the endearing story of Lidia's childhood Christmas tradtions and is filled with several delicious family recipes and beautiful illustrations by Laura Logan.

Lidia's Italy in America was just released this year, and is an exploration of the Italian-American food traditions and cultures across our country. I am still slowly savoring the pages of my copy, but have also not wasted any time in trying some recipes. I highly recommend making Sausage and Peppers {one of my husband's all-time favorite dishes} and the Baked Ziti {which I made for my sister and brother-in-law while up in Maryland and was promptly devoured}.

One lucky commenter will win both copies of these books! To enter this giveaway, leave a comment answering this question:

What is your favorite Italian-American dish?

Crispy, juicy porchetta is, perhaps, the best dish ever.
