{Flavia's Favorites} Sur La Table Platinum Professional Bakeware

For my birthday a couple of weeks ago, my brother-in-law, sister-in-law and nephew gave me one of Sur La Table's baking sheets from their Platinum Professional bakeware line. I love it. Each piece is thick and durable and has a ridged design made of an eco-friendly, non-stick silicon coating. The surface releases food without sticking and cleans up easily. I inaugurated my new baking sheet this past week when I baked up a batch of chocolate chip cookies. They came out beautifully golden brown on the bottom and not a single one stuck to the baking sheet.
Caring for these pieces is simple. Although they are hand-wash only items, cleaning them couldn't be easier. To maintain the integrity of the coating, only use silicon, nylon or wooden utensils and do not use sharp utensils to cut in the pan. Nothing complicated there!
This is my new favorite item in my kitchen, and I'll be visiting Sur La Table soon to get a few more pieces from this line to add to my bakeware collection.
