Flavia's Flavors on The Pioneer Woman's Blog!
Can you hear that? That would be me giggling uncontrollably because this morning when I went to read Ree's latest blog post, I saw that she listed my blog on her list of Houston bloggers who wrote about her book signing in Houston last weekend. Ree is wonderful like that. She has written a post about every city she's visited on her book tour, posted pictures of the delightful people she has met (many of them babies) and has included a list of bloggers from those cities. It's been a fun way for me to discover new blogs.
After I wrote my post about meeting Ree, I e-mailed her the link to my blog where she could read it. I know she is a very busy gal and gets tons of e-mails, so I didn't expect to get mentioned (although a little part of me hoped I would, I can't lie). But I made it on to her list of Houston bloggers and I was so touched and flattered to see Flavia's Flavors on The Pioneer Woman's blog! Thank you, Ree, from the bottom of my heart. On another note, this week, I will be a baking fool as I get my annual cookie gifts ready to send out to friends. A new post of this year's cookie and treat line-up will be coming soon, complete with recipes. Stay tuned!
